I had to replace faux stone on the front of my house due to leaks. I sent out RFQs to 4 different companies, of those 3 participated in the bidding process, and of those, only one company had someone come out to the house to see first-hand what was involved – Sperrin Construction. I met with Gavin Kelly at least 2 times before we had an agreement put in place and got the project rolling. He had us pick out stone from his supplier so that it could be ordered in advance. Once the job started, different crews would show up to handle different phases of the project. The first crew tore off the old stone. The carpenter crew cam out next to replace damaged sheathing and insulation. They also removed windows in the affected areas to create water tight seals around each one, then re-installed the windows and the decorative trim inside of the house. They installed protective layers over the entire area, followed by screen. The stone masons came out to apply a scratch coat of cement and installed the new stone, including the grout in between each stone. All of the teams were friendly and experts at their craft. They answered any questions that I had throughout the process. My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of workmanship and the beauty of the stone install. I highly recommend Gavin and the team at Sperrin Construction to tackle any home project. They have the experience, know-how, and deliver at a reasonable price point for their work.
